Santa Clara County Climate and Health Resilience Leadership Academy

Santa Clara County, CA

Description

Raimi + Associates collaborated with six Santa Clara County community-based organizations (CBOs) to develop the Climate and Health Resilience Leadership Academy supported by the CDC Building Resilience Against Climate Effects (BRACE) grant. The Leadership Academy was designed to build capacity among local CBOs serving populations most vulnerable to extreme heat, impaired air quality, and other climate hazards through education and training. In partnership with the CBOs, R+A developed a curriculum of six Leadership Academy sessions that build to help future participants develop their own Climate Preparedness Action Plan. R+A developed all collateral for the sessions including presentations, agendas, detailed speaker guides, activity templates (in-person and virtual versions), and project graphics.
